POSITIONS:

    1 Equipment Operator
    John Deere Skid Steers and a 324 John Deere Wheel Loader - digging, pallet loading and unloading, truck loading and unloading, potting mix loading and other duties as assigned.
    3 General Laborers
    Planting trees and shrubs into pots or in the field digging trees which includes pinning balls, crimping wire and tying tops of the trees and balls of the balled and burlapped plants tipping up pots, fertilizing and cleaning up the container yard from winter truck loading and unloading, tagging plants, tying tops and weeding pots and other duties as assigned not just limited to those listed here.

START DATES: March as the work load increases

DURATION: Year round for our best workers, we try to keep people on through the winter if they worked all spring and summer, kept 14 this past winter.

LOCATION OF WORK: Here at the Nursery: 4343 MT Highway 35, Kalispell, MT.

PAY: $10.00 per hour depending on experience. Weekend help $8.00 per hour. Time-and-a-half for hours over 40 per week.

BENEFITS: After 6 months we offer a group medical insurance plan and cover 75% of the expense. After one year we offer one weeks paid vacation and six paid holidays. Participation in 401k plan.

HOURS: Currently Monday through Friday 7:30 - 4:00. During the peak season (April) Monday through Saturday 7:00 - 5:00 we may work up to ten hours per day up to six days per week.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Must be able to bend over repeatedly
  • Lift 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Carry 80 pounds up to 100 feet
  • Accustomed to working outdoors

  1. Show up for work when scheduled,
  2. Show up for work on time, and
  3. Put in your best effort all day, everyday.

  • We take a 20 minute break in the morning and a 30 minute lunch in the afternoon.
